Research Critical Analysis outline

Peer’s response “Although this format isn’t the standard outline format I actually really like how you formatted it by page. Your outline is clear and although there isn’t a lot of evidence or details in the outline, it’s well organized. I think your argument is good in this outline and I like how you describe the benefits with an example of someone who uses hearing aids and then also discuss the possible negative outcomes too.”

Professors response

“Instead of page numbers, think of the parts as sections. Give a title to each section that explains what it’s about. Next, consider what job each section does – provide background? make a subpoint that explains the how or why of your argument? etc.

These details are much more important than format. As we learned from the Outline presentation, while there is a standard format, the best outline format for you to write for yourself is the one that allows you to organize your ideas well.”
